I’m Dani Ward,

and I do lots of things.

It’s dangerous to go alone. Take these!

A painting of the mask and famous phrase from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. In calligraphy, "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" is written over an illustration of Majora's mask. The image is grungy.

Custom calligraphed & illustrated poster, part of my “Game Over” series, from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

It’s absolutely no secret that I’m a giant Legend of Zelda nerd.

I’ve even worked on fan art in the past, based on Majora’s Mask and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

But recently, I wanted to create a more universal design that would broadly encapsulate so much of the franchise. I’d initially began a rough sketch of this idea a few years ago. When I rediscovered it in an old sketchbook, I knew I had to finish it. And I am so pleased with the final product.

While the only place where you can purchase this design on various products is through my TeePublic storefront, you have another option if you want to own the digital file.

I’ve been working on artwork behind the scenes lately (as you may have noticed in my last post!) I also still have quite a few half-written drafts that are begging me to finish and publish them. All of that combined with working to unveil new branding for myself and transitioning to a new website, my plate is full and my coffers are largely empty. All of this work that I do doesn’t just cost money — it casts a lot of time and energy.

So, if you’d like to lend a hand, you can become a Patron of mine for as little as $1/month. And as a bonus, if you sign up, you’ll have access to the Legend of Zelda digital files shown above, so you can print and do whatever you want with them!

Just…you know, don’t sell them. That would bum me out, and pursuing legal action sounds exhausting.
